Playing Rules

Players alternate placing stones on the empty intersections. **You play as White, and the Computer plays as Black.** The objective is to surround more territory than your opponent.

Liberty & Capture

Intersections directly connected to stones are called 'liberties'. When a group of stones runs completely out of liberties, they are captured and removed from the playing field, populating the capture pool.
